Hello Pastor KKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
About four years ago before I even knew I would attend David's Christian Center, or that it was a church at all, I was already being impacted by the ministry. At the time, I only knew Pastor Kingsley and Pastor Mildred as people who spoke about relationships, and how it should be done in a Godly way.
Around 2020/2021, when I was in my 300 level, I was going through a difficult emotional season. I wasn’t in a good place. I was young, confused about relationships, and receiving multiple advances. I knew deep down that I wasn’t handling things the right way, and more than anything, I wanted to get it right.
Out of shame, I didn’t talk to anyone. Instead, I went online searching for videos about my emotions. So, because I had already heard about you previously and I already knew you spoke about relationships in a way that was honest, funny, relatable, and practical. I checked if you had any video that could help and I found the E-motions series.
That series truly changed my life. Till today, the lessons from it remain with me. It opened my eyes far beyond what I expected. I only wanted clarity, but I received direction. I understood what I was doing wrong, what I needed to stop, and what steps to take next. It was exactly what I needed at that time.
From then on, whenever I had questions about relationships, I returned to your Youtube, searching for relatable topics, simple questions you answered saving videos, watching, and learning. Every single time, it was a eye opener.
After university, when I moved to Lagos in 2024 and began searching for a church, a friend mentioned David's Christian Center. I checked the location, realized it was really close, and decided to attend. Today, I’ve been a committed member of DCC for almost two years.
I am deeply grateful to God for the ministry of Pastor Kingsley and Pastor Mildred. From my university days until now being in a healthy, sane, and responsible relationship, the impact of this ministry has been undeniable, even my boyfriend testifies of it.
Many times when I advise people, I realize that the wisdom I share is what I’ve learned from church and from you, directly and indirectly.
So I just want to say, Happy Birthday, sir.
I sincerely honor the grace of God upon your life. Thank you for being such a tremendous blessing to me, my Older sisters, and even my younger ones.
I love you, sir.
God bless you abundantly.
