This picture was taken in 2016. I had joined DCC on the 18th of January, 2015, and from the very start, I was struck by PK’s simplicity. No airs. No performance. Just truth, plainly delivered. Was it the humour with which he dissected the Word? Phenomenal. When I first encountered his messages, I honestly thought PK only preached about relationships. How wrong I was. While he did soften my heart towards marriage, his exposition of Scripture did something deeper. It charged my faith and awakened a drive for excellence in ways I still struggle to fully articulate. As a job seeker at the time, two scriptures stood out to me through his teachings Ecclesiastes 9:10 and Proverbs 22:29. Those verses went on to shape my early career and, even now, continue to define my approach to work and excellence. Thank you, Sir, for heeding the call. Your obedience has left marks you may never fully see, but they are real and lasting.
